Nahh, I'm not coming back. Sorry to disappoint. XD I still

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMMI!

I hope you have a great day and get lots of presents! Around
Christmas there will be something for you from me... LOL, I
promise! Anyway, we all miss you were very much and YAAA I WANNA
HUG YOU but you're so far away. ;O;

---

Look at my pretty iTego nano!

I got a pretty pink nano tube from
Leanne yesterday in the mail... thank you so much! I immediately
put stickers on it. ^^; Don't ask about the screen... I ripped
off the original plastic covering right when I wanted to put it in the
tube... then Leanne was like, "Shouldn't you keep it on so the cover
won't scratch?" Oh yeah... ^^; So I cut off a portion that
would stick better and it turned out like that.

School and work are PWNING MY ASS. I swear... this past week was
just endless... had something going on everyday! The coming week
looks better... but yeah, it'll start again soon. I'd better use
my time wisely...

Soci is really stressing me out. The prof is no help at all, I've
stopped listening since last week. He's not making sense at
all... one of the shittest profs I've ever had. I listen to my
iTego nano, read my Soci textbook in class and pass notes to Maggie in
class. I thought no one could get worse than my Japanese prof I
had two semesters ago... but noooo... this guy makes my old Soci prof a
living God. Not exaggerating either. Sigh, how am I going
to pass this course?! I already bombed that 10% quiz on
Thursday. Still two or three more quizzes to go before the
midterm.

Work is pwning me... pwning me bad. I keep thinking I'm messing
up on stuff... I'm totally not confident in what I'm doing. I'm
scared. *breathes* It's been only three days since I've
started... I shouldn't know everything yet... yes... *sigh* My
co-workers have been a BIG HELP though! I've only met Christine
and Gloria so far... and they've been so nice! Thank you for
helping me! And my manager Ruth... lol, she can give those
"looks"... but yeah, it's all good. ^^; Of course, Maggie also helps me! Hard work pays off
ne? Money = Japan! GANBARE!

Blah blah blah... I don't really have anything else to talk about
besides those two things... have been quite moody lately for some
reason. I think I'm just stressed. I might just snap any
minute...
Sunday, September 25, 2005

2:21 pm . . . .

Think it's time to update this. XD Lots of things happened these few days... only going to highlight them.

On Thursday, I got my iPod nano from Fedex. FINALLY! LOL,
I'm lucky... I was probably one of the people in the last batch of
iPods shipped from Apple and it got here exactly a week after I ordered
it. Now there's a 1-2 week wait before shipping on the Apple site
and I heard stores ran out of it... so YAY FOR ME! It's SOOO
SMALL... I couldn't believe it. I'm never putting it my pants
pocket... it'll break. There's scratches on it already... I need
those iPod tubes.

Also on Thursday, I recieved the most excellent news from Maggie.
Kernels wants to hire me! YEAH BABY!
I went to see the boss on Friday and we had a little chat. LOL, I
thought he'd give me an interview (which he said over the phone) but we
didn't... he was just talking to me and telling me what they did.
o_O Then I talked to the manager... she already knows me from
Maggie, so that was okay. XD I start training
soon for a couple of hours the coming week... and I have my midterms
and report due too... I'm gonna be even more busy than last week. YAY for money though! I have decided that my next major purchase will be a cell phone.

Yesterday was Maggie's surprise birthday party thing. XD She had
NO IDEA about it... it was so funny. Tony and I had a blast lying. A bit painful though,
because Maggie wasn't having such a great afternoon... but the night
made up for it! Thank you to all of you that cooked at
Eva's... my goodness... I feel horrible that I didn't help. I
didn't even wash that many dishes either...
After dinner we talked for a bit and then opened Maggie's
presents. LUCKY HER, she got a DVD burner! OMG! Now she can
burn off all the stuff she's been complaining about that's been eating
up her comp. She also got an Adidas jacket and some SMELLY
OLD SOCKS (EWWW)! After that we headed to Lew's house to
gamble... rofl, I didn't... I was watching this Korean drama with Lew's
sister... and I think I want to watch more now... dammit! XD
Sunday, September 18, 2005

10:25 pm . . . .

Fun day yesterday! Went out to lunch at Don Don Noodle Cafe with
Maggie, Sushi and Lew. Then we went to Lew's house to watch "I
Want To Be A Model" (which is really stupid, LOL) to pass time... then
we picked up Eva and went to watch "Just Like Heaven" (which is a good
romantic comedy). Oh, I also bought another necklace (a blue
crown key) and a blue LIVESTRONG bracelet. Now I owe two people
money because after the movie I had $3 left. XD

I AM SO HAPPY! YOU KNOW WHY?! BECAUSE I'M GETTING AN IPOD
NANO! THAT'S RIGHT! A black 4 GB one. Got it
online because of the free shipping, free laser engraving and education
discount. This is all coming out of my own bank account though...
my first ever expensive purchase. *tears* I have spent quite a
lot from my summer work money already, but what the hey. I need a
new music player badly. Am planning to give my MD to my cousin.
^^; Oh, I also had to buy an adapter for my iPod... $30 down the
drain for that damn thing, but I figured I needed it for travelling and
such when I don't have a computer around to charge it.

I just went out for a family dinner because it's Mid-Autumn
Festival. The food was great and talked to my cousins a
lot. Carmi got me a Wimbledon stress ball figure from her
England/Africa trip. YAY! XD Too bad she couldn't get me
that Andy Roddick poster... oh well, I already have one. XD

Umm, yeah so I have to get started on my schoolwork soon. I have
a computer class report due on Thursday, three chapters of Soci I need
to read (and possibly more), a couple of chapters from my Traditional
Asia class I need to read also... and a midterm coming up on the 29th
in Soci. HOLY I'M SCREWED. XD
Monday, September 12, 2005

12:23 am . . . .

Went out for late night dinner on Saturday with some of the old
badminton gang at Tomokazu. FINALLY! Everyone's been to
Tomokazu except me. ^^; And it's great to see some of you guys
again! Oh my, how we've all changed, appearance-wise... and some of you are quite pervy... LMAO! Mmm,
beans are good... I mean, I had an awesome time talking and catching
up. Aww, Sam didn't snort out any tea... oh well, it's all good haha!

It was almost 12 am after we ate, and two party poopers had to leave.
After taking group pictures (in which I probably looked like
crap because of the huddling together and Cathy blocking my head, ROFL)
and standing outside for the longest time, we decided to go sing
karaoke in Richmond. Hee hee, Will and Phil called Cathy's phone
at 11:57 pm to wish her a happy birthday... too bad they were off by 3
minutes. XD Karaoke was a blast! Why are everyone such
pros... I thought Will was actually the real person in the TV!!!
Cathy found two T&T songs... was so surprised! I think we
both got hyped up after singing those songs. XD Too bad we didn't
know 'True Heart' well enough... but YEAH KISEKI! YAY FOR ROMAJI!
I swear this is the second time I've been out this late...
lol, I
couldn't believe it. Also the first time I've called back home
and
told my parents to expect me to come home late. It was 3:30 am
when I came home... yikes.

So yup! Happy Birthday Cathy sempai! (Are you sick of me calling you that yet?) Hope your wishes come true! Oh, and Herbert, about your driving... (shakes head) LOL!
Thursday, September 08, 2005

11:05 pm . . . .

School has finally started. Am not too surprised that I'm
exhausted coming home everyday, even though I don't take too many
courses... *sigh*

So, I did something life altering today. Well, not life
altering... maybe school life altering. I went to go see a
counsellor about switching to UBC to major in Japanese. Sushi
told me I could double major in Japanese and Hospitality... I thought
that was a good idea, although the 'double' part kinda freaked me out.
XD After a long discussion with my brain, I decided to give it a
shot. I was hesitant at first, seeing how I have a love-hate
relationship with Japanese, but ultimately in the end I know I want to
be fluent in it enough so I can do something work related with it
after. Now I'm not aiming for SFU Communications anymore... I
used to think all that media and journalism stuff was cool, but...
after looking at the course list... I couldn't picture myself being
active in there...

After talking with the counsellor, I immediately had to readjust my
courses for the right credits... seeing how I've already finished half
of first year... I was really unsure whether I'd have to start all over
again or not. Then I figured I could take some of my courses and
make it as an elective... and some of the ones I took are the ones I
need for UBC. Thank goodness! I had to drop one of my
classes today though and transfer into another one. HOPEFULLY I
didn't miss much when I go tomorrow. If everything goes according
to plan, I can get into second year in the summer. Wish me
luck!

Hard part was to break it to my parents... I've already told before to
my mom that my back up plan was Japanese. When I told her today I
switched everything, she was like, "ARE YOU SERIOUS?" Yes, I'm
serious... "Well... okay. If that's what you think is
right. I'm warning you, I don't really want you going to Japan
anyways and the people there are psycho." GEE, THANKS MOM!
YEESH! I'm still VERY CONFUSED at whether I'm doing the "right"
thing or not, this is still me experimenting... lol, but
whatever. I actually want to do this.

Anyways, about school in general. I liked summer semester SO MUCH
BETTER... mainly because there weren't a lot of people at school and I
could go sit wherever I wanted. XD There are so many froshes from
my high school I recognize... it's weird! ^^; Classes are
okay. Soci makes me want to fall asleep BAD... the teacher goes
off topic like crazy! I learned about his cat today.
UGH! OOH, when I went to CPSC, I was so surprised to see a friend
from English in the summer in my class! I was SO HAPPY!
LOL! Erm, so now that I switched my schedule, I can go home
during my 2 hour break (instead of my two hour separate break in
between classes). YAY!!! I hate staying at school and not
doing anything. XD
Thursday, September 01, 2005

10:15 pm . . . .

School is starting in less than a week! LIKE HOMG! XD Am
totally not prepared or ready to commit myself to it yet. I did
buy my Soci textbooks today... don't they look interesting.
Going to have a complete bedroom makeover soon... well, cleaning up all
the old junk and moving some furniture around. Hopefully I can
get a cork bulletin board so I can put up the nice shop photos Cathy
gave me.

Sam came over on Monday to help me format my comp and put in Windows
XP. FINALLY! I can run multiple programs at once without it
crashing! I can do so much more stuff now and the computer feels
so much faster! LOL, I owe you one Sam... for also helping me
take apart two computers and putting in the floppy drive. XD We
should go karaoke sometime too! MAGGIE LET'S GOOO! XD Oh,
now that I have XP, I put in Adobe Photoshop CS and I'm planning to put
in Dreamweaver too.

I went to Eva's house at night that day too, to play with something
called the Eye Toy for the PS2 that Lew bought. It's SO
FUN! Though I suck at most of the games...

Some TV talk... ^^; I wasn't watching the US Open until today,
but I found out yesterday from my parents that Andy Roddick lost in the
first round... how disappointing is that? I feel horrible for the
guy... coming to his favorite tournament and losing like that.
Then my parents asked me if the 30th was his birthday and OMIGOSH, that
makes it 10x worse. I don't think he's ever been booted out first
round for awhile. If he had made it to the next round, I'm pretty
sure at the end of the match, they'd bring him out a birthday cake and
sing happy birthday to him. Poor guy. ;O;

Usually I don't pay attention to who's on MuchMusic or not, but Rick
Campanelli
recently left the station after 10 years being on the
air. I grew up with MM, lol... I even remembered their very first
logo, when 'Clip Trip' hadn't moved to MuchMoreMusic and the good ol'
days of Electric Circus with that 'French Kiss' VJ. Rick's been
there forever... and he was
supposedly 'the
temp' but ended up longer than almost everyone else! It was so
sad to see him leave... I managed to catch the last few minutes of him
being on MOD... people were crying! Now that Rick's left, I just
heard that Jennifer Hollett
is leaving too... today, I think.
What the hell?! Okay, I don't like her much but she is SO MUCH
BETTER compared to the noob VJs. The noobs are SO ANNOYING,
ARGH! MM is going downhill... unless they can find someone like
Hannah... too bad she isn't on regularly. Plus their new own produced shows really suck... like 'Much
911'? WTF, isn't MM a music station?! It's starting to turn
into a MTV-wannabe station... I loved the old VJs (I could name probably all of them XD)...
some of them are still on TV, like George (CBC's 'The Hour') and
Namugenyi (some NBA show on Sportsnet) but... awww, I miss them on
MM.
Tuesday, August 23, 2005

1:03 pm . . . .
